Beauty Industry Billboards
The cosmetics industry is ever-changing. From new skincare products to new makeup trends, it seems like there’s always something new going on.
A few years ago, it was bold, thick eyebrows and matte liquid lipstick (and Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW had quite the moment). Now, it seems that eyelash extensions are hotter than ever, not to mention all of the other microtrends of the past few years like fake freckles, dramatic blush, and slugging.
And as an industry that’s constantly changing, with so many different type of products and services, that means it’s an industry that constantly needs to advertise.
A few weeks ago, we touched on influencer billboards, specifically noting Kylie Cosmetics’ billboard campaign, but Kylie Jenner isn’t the only one who’s gotten in on the billboard game.
For example, Jeffree Star—another big name in beauty—is no stranger to OOH advertising. Back in 2019, he ran the below campaign for his Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette. Additionally, he’s used billboards to advertise some collaborations with fellow internet personalities, like Manny MUA and Shane Dawson.

But it’s not just influencer brands that are taking advantage of OOH advertising. Big name brands like Dove and Sephora have posted outdoor ads in recent years, as well.
And that still doesn’t cover it. Small beauty businesses can (and have!) successfully posted outdoor ads, as well, like a couple of our buyers, WarrZone Beauty & Collections and My Salon Suite.
Like beauty trends, beauty advertisements are everywhere, and they’re great for making a statement. Interested in securing your own? Create a campaign now on BillboardsIn.
